Still only in her 30s, Joanne has become one of the most sought-after guitarists in the world of rock. She released her first album, White Sugar, in 2009, unleashing her distinct and soulful voice and demonstrating a songwriting prowess way beyond her years. She went on to release several more critically acclaimed albums and the live album Songs From The Road (2013).
In 2014, Joanne released her fourth studio album The Dirty Truth, and in 2016, she collaborated with producer Kevin Shirley on her fifth album Wild. She appeared on BBC Two Television’s popular music show Later With Jools Holland to perform to singles from the album, “Dyin’ To Know” and “Summertime.”
Over the past two decades, Joanne has proven herself as a prolific songwriter, with each critically acclaimed album more successful than the last. Her 2019 release Reckless Heart broke into the UK Top 20,, cementing her status as one of the most important exports in British blues-rock.
The Blues Album (2021), produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith, marked Joanne’s seventh studio album, and her first release on Bonamassa’s independent label KTBA Records, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Charts. In 2022, Joanne received her second No. 1 Billboard Blues Album with Blues From The Heart Live.
Joanne’s eighth studio album Nobody’s Fool was released on October 28, 2022, featuring Bonamassa, Dave Stewart, Tina Guo, and Carmen Vandenburg.
